Are you curious about how your transplant social work colleagues do assessments or handle clients’ substance abuse or mental health issues?  Would you like to stay on top of the latest research about psychosocial issues related to transplant--or maybe do some of that research yourself?   Do you wish you had a clear way to demonstrate your expertise to your team and to your clients?

If any of these options appeal to you, please join the Society for Transplant Social Workers!   The Society is a dynamic, international, professional organization.  We aim to promote clinical excellence and mutual support in solid organ transplant social work.  To this end, the Society offers members:

  • An annual conference with at least 15 hours of transplant-specific education and lots of opportunity for networking

  • The Certified Clinical Transplant Social Worker (CCTSW) credential

  • An online discussion forum for posing questions and sharing ideas

  • Annual surveys regarding transplant social work salaries and responsibilities

I encourage you to join us, both as a member and at our 2012 conference, which will be in San Francisco, CA, in September.  You will be glad you did.

Membership Dues

Dues are $100 for the calendar year.  Society membership is not transferable to another person.

Membership includes a subscription to Progress in Transplantation, which is published quarterly. No back issues are provided.

You may pay online or by check.  We prefer that you pay online.  Record keeping is easier for us if you do so, but also membership activation is immediate so you can begin using the members only section of the website right away. If you pay by check it will be several weeks before your membership is fully processed and you receive a password to log on to this section.

If paying by check, complete application online and then print it to enclose with your check. Make checks payable to Society for Transplant Social Workers. Mail application and check to:
